Iberia will fly from this summer Madrid to London Heathrow and New York JFK with new Airbus A350

Spanish airline Iberia, part of IAG, will soon take delivery of its first Airbus A350 out of the 16 airplanes that are due to receive. The airline has filed its first schedule for this particular airline and starting July we will see it operating from Madrid Barajas airport.

First flights with A350 are planned to London Heathrow

First flights with A350 by Iberia will commence in 20th July, when until end of August the flight IB3166 from Madrid to London Heathrow will be planned with Airbus A350. However, between August 4 and August 16 there are no flights planned with A350 on MAD – LHR route.
The return flight IB3167 from London is not yet scheduled with Airbus A350. I wouldn’t necessarily count that this route will be actually operated with A350’s as the current schedule says.

Service to New York JFK from Madrid with A350 will start from August

Starting August 8th also some flights to New York JFK will be operated with the new Airbus A350. In August the flights IB6250 and 6251 are scheduled with A350, while from September onwards the operation with A350 will be taken also by flights IB6252 and IB6253, so the Madrid to JFK route will be served twice daily with the new A350’s.

Iberia’s A350s will be configured with 31 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 293 economy seats
