Air China terminates the scheduled flights to North Korea from Beijing

Air China recently announced the termination of the scheduled flights to North Korea, on the Pyongyang – Beijing route. The decision it’s effective immediately.

As of this decision, the last flight to Pyongyang by Air China from Beijing was on 20th of November 2017.

It is yet unclear the reason for this decision taken by the Chinese airline officials, especially since they just recently announced that the service from Beijing to Pyongyang got increased from seasonal to permanent.

After this decision, the sole carrier to fly on this route will remain Air Koryo, by many considered the worst airline in the world, and the only airline in DPRK.
