Air Italy has announced another North American expansion from Milan Malpensa airport with flights starting from April 2019.
Initial routes announced where the ones to the West Coast – to Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). The carrier later on announced the flights to Chicago and Toronto.
The flights from Milan Malpensa to San Francisco and Los Angeles will begin in April, while the flights to Toronto and Chicago are scheduled for operation starting in May 2019.
Air Italy already has a daily flight from Milan to New York and a seasonal scheduled flight to Miami.
Besides the North American routes, the carrier also serves domestic routes and long-haul destinations such as Bangkok, Delhi and Mumbai among other destinations.
The carrier is already the country’s second largest carrier, behind struggling Alitalia.
Currently, the Italian carrier has in operation a fleet of 15 aircraft, with additional orders of 17 Boeing MAX 8 and 30 Boeing Dreamliners.
