Bacau it’s one of the last cities to join a direct connection to Bucharest. The route was operated until 2010 by the national carrier TAROM, primarily with ATR 42 planes. At the moment, the sole carrier offering flights from Bacau Airport is Blue Air.
Currently, Blue Air operates three domestic flights between Bucharest and the cities of Iasi, Cluj, and Oradea. It has also operated a triangular route Timisoara – Cluj – Iasi but canceled it mid-February.
The carrier besides these domestic routes also operates flights to Black Sea city of Constanta.
Let’s hope that the Bucharest – Bacau flight will be a success. I see them as a good connection opportunity for those traveling to Bacau
