Eurowings will start Stuttgart – Timisoara service in June 2019

Eurowings, the low-cost subsidiary of Lufthansa, will introduce from June 3, 2019 a new service between Stuttgart and Timisoara, Romania.

The new Stuttgart – Timisoara route will be operated three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with 144 seater Airbus A319 aircraft.

The schedule might get some updates as it looks like they really wanted to operate the route but didn’t decided on the best timing or there wasn’t any available aircraft.

Planned flight time for the 600 miles distance between the cities is about one hour and 45 minutes.

Direct competition with TAROM

Just last summer TAROM, the Romanian National Airline, inaugurated the Timisoara – Stuttgart flights and Eurowings will be in direct competition with the Romanian carrier.
TAROM operates the route on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday so on two days they will double serve the route.
