Helsinki-based Finnair just recently announced that during winter season 2019/2020 they will add two new seasonal destinations. The routes to be flown from Helsinki will be operated to Sapporo, Japan and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The Finnish Oneworld alliance member will fly the Helsinki – Sapporo route between December 15, 2019 and March 27, 2020 with two weekly frequencies.
This new flight to Sapporo will be Finnair’s fifth destination in Japan, after Tokyo Narita, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
A new flight will be also opened to sunny Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The flight will be operated between December 13 and March 27 with one weekly frequency, utilizing Airbus A350 aircraft.
In addition to the two new flights, Finnair will also increase schedule to Hong Kong from the summer 2019 season to double daily flights.
Finnair flies to seven cities in Greater China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chongqing, Nanjing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
