Austrian budget airline Laudamotion has announced that starting February 1, 2019 it will add 5 weekly flights to Kiev.
Flights between the capitals of Austria and Ukraine will be operated on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and will be operated with Airbus A321 aircraft with a capacity of 210 seats.
Travel time on this flight will be around 2 hours.
Flights are already on sale on Ryanair’s website and the mini-website of Laudamotion can be accessed here. It is basically the same website as of Ryanair’s but instead of blue the main color of the navigation bar it was replaced with red.
Besides Laudamotion the route is also served by Austrian Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) and Hungarian budget carrier Wizz Air.
Laudamotion was founded in March 2018 by Nicky Lauda, but 75% of the shares were rapidly purchased by Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair.
