LOT Polish Airlines will fly from Warsaw to Washington Dulles starting summer 2020

Polish Star Alliance member LOT Airlines announced today that they will commence flights between Warsaw (WAW) and Washington Dulles (IAD) starting June 2020.

The polish airline will have three weekly flights operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes.

First flights will debut on June 2, 2020, and will be operated with departures from Warsaw on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays with the following flight schedule:

LO39 Warsaw Chopin WAW 16:50 – Washington Dulles IAD 20:30
LO40 Washington Dulles IAD 22:25 – Warsaw Chopin WAW 13:25 (+1)

Flight time for the route starting in Warsaw will be about 9 hours and 30 minutes, while the return flight from Washinton Dulles will take somewhere near 9 hours, depending on jet streams across the Atlantic.

The Warsaw – Washington Dulles route will be the seventh of the Star Alliance member LOT Polish Airlines in the United States operated from Warsaw, after the routes to New York, New Ark, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles. The Polish airline will also start flying to San Francisco, but this route will be inaugurated only in august 2020.

Besides the flights from Warsaw, LOT flies to the United States also from Krakow and Budapest (Hungary).
