LOT Polish Airlines will start service between Warsaw and New Delhi in September 2019

LOT Polish Airlines announced earlier this week that they will open a new route between Warsaw and New Delhi starting 17 September 2019.

The new route between the Polish and Indian cities will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner five times a week and tickets are already available on sale.

The first flight will commence on 17 September from Warsaw Chopin Airport to New Delhi’s Terminal 3 (with the return flight taking off from New Delhi on 18 September).

The effective schedule of 5 weekly flights connects the home town airports of Star Alliance member air carriers: LOT Polish Airlines and Air India.

LO 071 WAW-DEL 22:40 – 09:00(+1) Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
LO 072 DEL-WAW 11:15 – 15:50 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

Flight time between Warsaw and New Delhi for the 3275 miles journey it’s about 6 hours and 50 minutes eastbound, while west-bound the flight it’s booked at an 8-hour duration schedule.

LOT Polish Airlines previously served Delhi between 1985 and 1992, while the Polish Airlines had a flight to Mumbai until February 1982.

In the previous year, LOT broke its record carrying on board over 8.8 million passengers, which is 2 million more than a year earlier. This year, it plans to cross the barrier of 10 million passengers carried onboard.
