New business class cabin on Turkish Airlines Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 has been confirmed

The new business class cabin of the Boeing 787 Dreamliners and Airbus A350 that are due to be delivered to Turkish Airlines will start with a new business class hard product.

This means that the business class cabin will be updated on these flights with new seats and a new seating configuration.

Turkish Airlines chose for the new aircraft the Aurora seat from Stelia Aerospace. It’s basically almost the same interior as some mid-haul Singapore Airlines have.

The configuration of the new cabin will be in a 1-2-1 layout, with full flat seats and with all seats having direct access to the aisle.

Business class seats onboard new Turkish Airlines aircraft will feature a 44 inch seat pitch, an 18″ HD video display and a privacy screen between the paired middle seats.

Turkish Airlines will have delivered the first Dreamliners somewhere in mid-2019, and those are already scheduled on opening a few routes, such as Istanbul – Bali and Istanbul – Mexico City – Cancun flights.
The Istanbul based Star Alliance member has ordered 25 Boeing Dreamliners and 25 Airbus A350.

The new interior for the moment will not be migrated to existing Airbus A330, A340 or Boeing 777 jets from Turkish Airlines.
