Nine new routes for Air Baltic in summer 2018 schedule

Latvian state-owned carrier Air Baltic will expand its routes in the summer 2018 schedule with nine new routes originating from Riga and Tallin.

New routes will enter with the commencement of the summer schedule in March 27 when the carrier will add direct non-stop connections to Lisbon, Gdansk and Malaga from Riga and London from Talinn.
After the inauguration of these routes, Air Baltic will also add service from Riga to Kalingrad, Almaty (Kazahstan), Sochi (Russia), Split (Croatia) and Bordeaux (France).

The Latvian carrier will also boost frequencies from Riga to Odessa (Ukraine), Paris, Munich, Warsaw, Moscow and Milan.

With these additions of new routes and frequencies, Air Baltic increases significantly for connection opportunities in the Baltics and Scandinavia through Riga.

We expect in the following months further developments in the number of routes of Air Baltic since they expect the deliveries of an additional 12 new Bombardier CS300 aircraft. Currently, Air Baltic has a fleet of 31 planes, a mixed configuration of Boeing 737’s, Bombardier Dash Q400 turboprop planes and 8 brand new Bombardier CS300’s.
