Australian carrier Qantas will start flying from the city of Perth (West Australia) to London starting 24th of March 2018. This will mark the first direct non-stop flight between Europe and Australia.
Rumors are saying that Qantas also eyes opening of flights from Perth also to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France).
The ultra-long-haul flight between Perth and London has a flight duration of approximately 17 hours and its flown with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes.
The planes are configured in 3 classes, totaling a number of 236 seats in all classes. The seats offered onboard Qantas 787-9 planes are configured into 42 business class reclining seats, 28 economy plus seats and 166 standard economy class seats.
I just hope that this insanely long flight will have good seats, because flying so long in economy class although efficient in making a saving on travel time might not be one of the best experiences in terms of comfortable travel.
In pictures, seats, especially in the business class cabin, look great!
Business class has a configuration of 1-2-1, premium economy is 2-3-2 while economy class is the standard 3-3-3.
