Qatar Airways increases capacity to New York JFK by operating both daily flights with Airbus A350-1000

Qatar Airways will increase the capacity of seats to New York JFK by operating both daily flights with 327-seater Airbus A350-1000. Currently, the two daily Doha – New York JFK flights are operated with a mix of one daily flight with A350-1000 and one daily flight with the 283-seater A350-900.

The increase in capacity and change of the second daily rotation with a bigger aircraft will happen to start April 1, 2019.

Qatar’s A350-1000 has a two-class cabin configuration, with a business class cabin that consists of 46 lie-flat seats and 281 economy class seats.

The addition of the second A350-1000 means that instead of offering 608 daily seats between New York and Doha, Qatar Airways will have 654 daily seats on the route, out of which 96 are business-class famous QSuites.
