Qatar Airways upgrades Dallas flights to Airbus A350-1000 aircraft with Q Suites in July 2019

Qatar Airways will start flying to Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW) airport from Doha with upgraded Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The route will be operated with the new A350-1000 starting July 1, 2019, and will mark the second US route to be flown with the type, after New York.

However, as currently listed in flight search engines, the flight will be operated with A350-1000 only between July 1, 2019  and October 26, 2019 when it will resume to operation with the previous aircraft type.
Typically, the Doha – Dallas DFW (QR 730/QR 729) route its operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Flight duration for the 8.000 miles route its about 16 hours in westbound and around 14-hours for the eastbound flight.

Q suite upgrade for the DFW – DOH flight

The special mention for the aircraft upgrades its that the DFW-DOH route will have upgraded Q-Suites, while the typical 777 business class on Qatar’s fleet for this route it’s a little bit less impressive than the A350’s QSuites.

I might think that maybe Qatar will upgrade more 777’s with the QSuite, and the Dallas Fort-Worth route might get the upgrade.

Conclusion

If you are planning a trip from Dallas to Europe or Asia, you might consider Qatar Airways period for upgraded aircraft for the Dallas route. The A350’s are brand new planes, QA having 37 of them and they could be a very special experience for those of you that are looking to test every new plane that gets out on the skies. And with Qatar’s regular 5-star service, it can be very interesting.

However, if you are booking solely to fly on the Qsuite, make sure to check the seat map when selecting the seats on the aircraft.
