Royal Air Maroc Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
Royal Air Maroc received last week their first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft delivered from Seattle. The first RAM 787-9 Dreamliner has the registration number CN-RAM and it also features a special livery with a stylized tail, just like the first 737 MAX in their fleet.
The new aircraft then had a couple of domestic flights and yesterday it was introduced to the Casablanca – New York flight.
Previously RAM operated routes to New York with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. The passenger (and of course, cargo) capacity of the 787-9 it’s larger with 24 seats.
Seating configuration for the 787-9 that operate the Casablanca – New York route consists of 24 business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, with all seats having direct access to the aisle. There is no Premium Economy class, and the 278 seats in the economy class are in a 3-3-3 seating configuration, with the last row being on a 2-3-2 configuration.
Unfortunately, the airline has not yet disclosed real pictures of the airplanes interiors, but we believe soon the details of the RAM 787-9 interior will come out.
Just recently, Royal Air Maroc took delivery also of their first Boeing 737 MAX 8.
