TAP Portugal withdrawns again from Lisbon – Bucharest route

TAP Portugal announced earlier last month that it will cancel it’s Bucharest service from the end of January 2019.

Last flight inbound from Bucharest to Lisbon will operate on 28 January 2019, but however the company will operate two more flights on 1 and 10 February according to RoutesOnline.

The Portuguese airline previously canceled the route in 2016 but after that they restarted operations in summer 2017. After only one year and half they halt again the route between the Portuguese and Romanian capital cities.

The company operated the route with a mix of Airbus A319 and A320 planes.

For the moment Blue Air will remain the only airline operating the 4-hour route between Bucharest and Lisbon but however Wizz Air will restart also their service starting April 2019.
