TAROM to launch international flights from Oradea to Barcelona and Milano in summer 2019 schedule

TAROM announced that it will expand its presence at Oradea Airport starting the summer schedule that will inaugurate on March 31, 2019. The carrier will then operate two weekly flights from Oradea to Barcelona and Milano Bergamo.

Oradea – Barcelona flights starting March 31, 2019

The Oradea – Barcelona flights will be operated with departures from Oradea on Thursday and Sunday and returns from Barcelona the next day. The flights will be red-eye flights, meaning that they will be operated during the night with the following schedule

Oradea 23:35 – Barcelona 01:20
Barcelona 01:55 – Oradea 05:35

The flights will be operated with Boeing 737-300 aircraft and the starting prices are from 130 EUR return.

Oradea – Milano Bergamo flights starting April 4th, 2019

The flights to Milano Bergamo from Oradea will be operated also two times a week, on Thursdays and Sundays with the following schedule:

Oradea 09:40 – Milano Bergamo 10:30 (Thursday)
Milano Bergamo 11:15 – Oradea 14:05 (Thursday)
Oradea 08:10 – Milano Bergamo 09:00 (Sunday)
Milano Bergamo 09:45 – Oradea 12:35 (Sunday)

The flights will be operated with Airbus A318 aircraft and ticket prices are starting from 87 EUR return, all taxes included.

Both destinations were previously operated by Ryanair, but the Irish low-cost company suspended the routes in 2018. It is also to be noted that Ryanair connected Oradea with Girona Airport, 60 km north to Barcelona, while TAROM will operate on Barcelona’s main airport – El Prat.

From Oradea at the moment the only scheduled flights are to Bucharest, operated by TAROM and its low-cost rival Blue Air.
