Romanian legacy carrier TAROM will resume in June 2020 flights between Bucharest and Odesa (Ukraine). Flights are scheduled to resume on June 3, 2020, and will have a three-weekly service.
Flights will be operated with ATR 72-600 planes, a type of plane that is currently in the renewal process for the Romanian carrier.
The Bucharest – Odessa flight was firstly announced in mid-2018 but was operated only intermittently, due to low passenger demand. However, back in 2018, the flight was announced with very short notice.
Currently, TAROM is selling the tickets on the online travel agencies website, without listing the destination on their website.
The flight schedule will be operated as follows:
RO 119 Bucharest Henri Coanda (OTP) – Odessa (ODS) 01:00 – 02:35 / Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
RO 120 Odessa (ODS) – Bucharest Henri Coanda (OTP) 04:15 – 06:00 / Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
Based on the schedule, it’s very clear that TAROM intends to operate this flight as a feeder for its European network.
