Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737-800 NG
Ukraine International Airlines received in the last days one brand new Boeing 737-800 NG airplane, directly from the assembly line in Seattle. This year, the Ukrainian carrier will receive a total number of 10 new aircrafts, out of it 4 wide-body Boeing 777’s for long haul flights and another 4 medium haul Boeing 737-800 NG’s and 2 Embraer 195s.
Out of the four 737-800’s that the carrier will receive, three of them will be brand new, directly from Boeing’s assembly line.
The new Boeing 737-800 of UIA are configured in 2 classes and they have a seating capacity of 186 passengers.
With the upgrade of the airplanes, the carrier released plans in ceasing the operation with the old Boeing 737-300 and 737-500 aircraft. The carrier still operates as we speak two 737-300’s and one 737-500, but they will cease operations later this year.
