Virgin Atlantic will increase its schedule from London Heathrow to Johannesburg International Airport starting next winter season. As of 28th October 2018, the carrier will be offering two daily flights between London and the South African city of Johannesburg.
The flight time from London to Johannesburg is approximately 11 hours and are operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner airplanes.
The second daily flight is not yet loaded into Virgin Atlantic’s reservation system.
Currently, the daily flight from London Heathrow to Johannesburg departs at 18:55 and arrives in the South African in the morning at 07:50, all times local.
The move from Richard Branson’s airlines comes following an announcement from South African that it will reduce the frequencies on this route.
