Wizz Air announced that it will allocate another Airbus A320 aircraft to its Kutaisi base that will enable the Hungarian low-cost carrier to open six new routes.
Starting August 2019, the leading low-cost carrier from Georgia will add six routes from Kutaisi to Eindhoven, Bari, Copenhagen, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Tallin and Brussels-Charleroi.
All new flights are scheduled to operate twice weekly, except the Kutaisi – Eindhoven flight which will be operated with a three-weekly frequency, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
All new flights from Kutaisi are already on sale and ticket fares start from 19.99 EUR/one way.
WIZZ started operations from Kutaisi International Airport in 2012 and after 7 years of successful operations, and only 8 months after allocating its second aircraft to the Kutaisi base, the airline announced a further expansion at its Georgian base by allocating a third Airbus A320 aircraft in August 2019.
