Wizz Air will fly to Astana (Kazakhstan) from Budapest

Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air is continuing to expand it’s destinations list with the latest addition of the Astana, Kazakhstan flight from Budapest. Flights will commence starting June 8th, 2017 and will have a twice per week schedule.

The days for operation of the flights will be on Thursday and Sunday.

The flight from Budapest to Astana has more than 3.700 kilometers, so there is a 4-5 hours flight duration, making the route one of the longest from Wizz Air’s portfolio. I am strongly looking forward for this route, especially to see if there is demand from point-to-point flights from Kazakhstan to Budapest.

It would be really interesting if Wizz Air would offer from the eastbound flights transfer at Budapest Airport but until then passengers must book separately flights if they are looking to connect at the Hungarian aiport.

Tickets are already on sale on Wizz Air’s website.
