Blue Air announces 8 new international flights from Bacau, Bucharest and Iasi
Blue Air, the largest Romanian airline by the number of passengers transported, announced today the launch of eight new routes operated from airports in Romania. The new flights will start to commence in mid-June 2020.
Bucharest – Munchen flights
The Bucharest – Munchen flights will operate under a four weekly frequency, with flights departing Bucharest on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Prices start from only 20 Eur/flight.
Iasi – Verona new flights
The Verona route is not new for passengers traveling from Iasi, however, it was previously operated by Italian Ernest Airlines that suspended routes to Romania. Blue Air will restart this route with a three weekly frequency flight. Flights will be operated starting 15th June 2020.
Bacau airport gets new flights to Athens, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Larnaca, Oslo and Stuttgart
The biggest expansion in the number of the routes announced will be for the Bacau airport in the Moldova region of Romania which will see the addition of six new flights to Athens, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Larnaca, Oslo and Stuttgart.
New flights will be launched with a 2-weekly frequency starting 15th June 2020. This will also mean that Blue Air will add the third aircraft to the Bacau base.
Currently, Blue Air serves flights from Bacau to Bruxelles, Bologna, Dublin, Liverpool, London, Madrid, Milan, Rome and Torino.
