Wizz Air suspends Timisoara to Billund and Doncaster/Sheffield
Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air suspends from the beginning of 2020 the flights from Timisoara to Billund (Denmark) and Doncaster/Sheffield (United Kingdom).
Flights being launched in the second part of 2020, they look as they haven’t gotten the expected performance for the low-cost carrier to have them continue at least until the end of the winter season.
Tickets are still available for flights to Billund until the 5th of January, while the route to Doncaster/Sheffield is discontinued starting the 10th of January 2020.
Both flights were operated with a frequency of two weekly flights and they have launched altogether with the routes from Timisoara to the German cities of Nurnberg and Baden-Baden. However, the German flights seem to at least have a decent enough performance for the Hungarian carrier to still continue them.
It is to be expected that on the now opened timeframe and the planes being available for other flights to see in the near future some frequency increases for existing flights from Timisoara or might even see new routes announced.
